Master the art of balanced flexible posture, through experiencing the interplay between shoulders, spine, body & mind.
Mind Body Educator
How to improve posture is a hot topic in today’s modern society. Our lives have become engineered towards sitting for long periods of time, so naturally, we’ve become very proficient at sitting. More often than not this becomes slumping over a desk or phone, which means our bodies have become very strong at slumping.
It’s common to try and combat the postural slump by using tension to pull the spine up and force the shoulders down. This works briefly, however, the moment we are distracted we fall back into whatever posture we’ve become most accustomed to.
In this workshop, you will experience how to rebalance your posture using mind, body and movement. We’ll delve into how we can adapt our thoughts to improve our posture. As well as experiencing the movement anatomy of the shoulders and spine using fun and easily relatable imagery.
This workshop is open to anyone, from movement professionals to personal enthusiasts. Whether you are attending for yourself or for professional development, here’s what you can expect:
“The results in the participants were outstanding: less pain, more mobility, less effort, more function and more precision.”
