There are 5 joints within your pelvis, do you know where they are or how they need to move? Core stability and pelvic floor control are the buzz phrases of our fitness generation, but what do they really mean?
Functional pelvic stability requires a synergy of balanced movement between all 5 pelvic joints, yet often we are taught that to stabilise our pelvis we need to engage our core muscles to prevent pelvic movement.
Using the unique and dynamic approach of the Franklin Method, in this workshop you will learn and experience the basics of healthy pelvic function. Each joint of the pelvis will be introduced in a fun, easily relatable way, giving you the opportunity to experience for yourself what it feels like to move your pelvis with ease and efficiency, compared to tension and dysfunction.
Through practicing how your pelvis works to stabilise itself within the daily acts of sitting, standing and walking, you will gain a personal understanding of how to train your pelvis within your everyday life.
Anyone is welcome to join this workshop, regardless of background, skill or fitness level.
